They are in many jewelry boxes – old, damaged or no longer worn pieces of jewelry, single earrings, broken chains or inherited rings that don't suit your own style.

At Feichtinger, you have the opportunity to turn your scrap gold into value – fair, transparent and with a clear focus on sustainability.

Our goal is not simply to pass on old gold, but to give it a new lease on life – in the form of high-quality jewelry that will be worn and loved once again. This is how something future-oriented is created from the past – with meaning and endurance.

How does the precious metal purchase work?

We are happy to accept your precious metal in our branches. It does not matter whether it is damaged jewelry or individual parts.

Our sales staff will record your items and then send them to our in-house workshop. There, they will be checked to determine which precious metal (e.g. gold, platinum or silver), which alloy (e.g. 333, 585 or 750) and what weight is present. Only when these factors are determined can the exact and current value be calculated.

Please note:

We do not purchase cutlery or dental gold. An assessment is also not always possible for other items – such as gold-plated accessories, costume jewelry or unclear alloys.

If you are unsure whether your pieces are suitable for purchase, it is best to come directly to one of our branches. Our trained sales team will be happy to take time for you, inspect your jewelry on-site and clarify any open questions regarding material, condition and suitability for purchase.

Our Price Guarantee

What makes our precious metal purchase special: We always guarantee you the better gold price. Since the market price for precious metals changes daily, the rate may fluctuate between the day of submission and the day of assessment in the workshop. However, at Feichtinger the following applies:

• If the rate on the day of submission is higher than on the day of assessment, you will receive the higher rate.

• If the rate on the day of assessment is higher than on the day of submission, the better value naturally also applies.

This way, we ensure that you never lose out, but always receive the best possible value for your precious metal – regardless of when exactly we assess it.

Your choice: Cash or Voucher

As soon as the value is determined, we will contact you by phone and personally inform you of the correct amount. You then have two options:

• Bank transfer: You opt for a payout – the amount will be transferred to your account within a few days.

• Feichtinger voucher: If you opt for a voucher, we will give you an additional 10% on top of the determined value. Ideal if you have already set your sights on a new favorite piece – or would like to browse our collection when the opportunity arises.

Please note:

Since we guarantee the highest accuracy and transparency, our precious metal purchase is not an instant purchase. The entire process can take a few days – but for you as a customer, this means: maximum fairness and trust.
